About the setting in conformity.
The machines and the components of safety put on the market must fulfill the essential health and safety requirements of setting in conformity of described with appendix I of the royal decree of May 5th, 1995.
Before several machines and components of safety considered as dangerous can be put on the market, they must be subjected to an examination of the type EC. This examination is carried out by a specialized company.
A CE conformity declaration type IIA or IIC must be established for all the machines and all the components of safety put on the market. Marking CE must be affixed on all the machines but not on the components of safety. However it is not the case for the machines without clean purpose or the machines intended to be built-in another machine or assembled with another machine. This last category of machines must be accompanied by a special CE declaration of conformity (standard IIB).
Other European directives can still be applied to a machine, like the directive low tension or CEM directive. Marking CE attests whereas that the other directives are also respected.
